PINK TREES PRESS GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION

Pink Trees Press seeks full-length manuscripts of poetry or memoirs. 

The winner will receive publication in 2027 and 25 author copies. 

Manuscript Presentation

• For your file name, give the name of the collection; do not include the author’s name.
• Provide a title page 
• Number your pages
• Follow the guidelines below

 Please do not include any identifying information in the submitted manuscript. Your title page should only display your title and not your name and contact information. Place your name and contact information in your cover letter only.

 Manuscripts must be between 50 and 120 pages (excluding title page, table of contents, and all front matter), written in English by a poet residing within the U.S.

• Manuscripts should be formatted in a standard font such as Times New Roman, Arial, or Garamond, sized at 12 pt., with one-inch margins, page size 81/2” x 11”. 

We encourage individual pieces published in journals or anthologies. We cannot republish previously published collections, including self-published books. 

• Simultaneous submissions are accepted as long as we are notified immediately if your manuscript is chosen elsewhere.
• Poets and writers must submit their own work.
• Submissions generated using AI in any way are prohibited. We do not publish writing or artwork generated by AI.
• Translations are not eligible for publication.
• Manuscripts must be sent in a single Word or PDF file with no identifying information in the file name.
• No color illustrations or photographs should appear in the manuscript.
• Include and upload your cover letter with your bio and contact information in the cover letter option area. 
• Do not include any identifying material, including your name, bio, or contact information, in your manuscript. 
• Include an acknowledgement page of published work within the manuscript.
• Multiple submissions are accepted as long as a $20 fee accompanies each submission.
• No edits can be made to manuscripts after submission. If chosen for publication, edits can be made, including resizing the book for printing before final proofs.
• Your submission acknowledges that you understand and agree to all guidelines.
• Notifications about finalists and winners will be sent via Submittable.
• No manuscripts will be returned.
